Habitat/Distribution: Mountain forest above 1000 meters in Negros.
Habitat / Behavior: L 5 3/4"; Found in all levels of montane forest above 1000m; singly or in groups, and sometimes in mixed floks. fairly noisy.

Call is a short sharp tzi repeated quickly gaining pace to form a trill. Also a very high pitched weeer and a double note (THF: P. Morris recording).
