| Common Names: bungkun. The
local names given to them are yut-yut (Crateromys) and bu-ut (Phloemys).
Category: VULNERABLE Habitat/Distribution: Recorded on Catanduanes and and on southern Luzon (Camarines Sur, Laguna and Quezon provinces), (Oliver et al., 1993). Reported from Marinduque (Steere, 1890). Habitat / Behavior: Feeds on tender young leaves and fruit; climbs well. Dens in hollow logs and trees. Moderately widespread and common but heavily hunted.
