Distribution: Lake Lanao (Lumbatan and Dansalan), Lanao Province, Mindanao Island, Philippines.
Biology: Dorsal spines (total): 4-4; Dorsal softrays (total): 18-18; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft-rays: 6-6. Preserved color dusky gray dorsally, whitish below; snout bluish black; dorsal rays dusky, caudal yellow, other fins colorless. Very large & broad head; large snout with 3 bony humps near its tip; large mouth. 13 scales between nape & dorsal; 3 scales between ventral & lateral line. Minute white tubercles on snout & top of head. Max. size: 12.6 cm SL

Description based from the type and only specimen, 12.6 cm, collected at Camp Keithley, Lanao. No specimen was caught during the 1994 expedition (Ref. 10888)
