ENDANGERED Status: Single- island endemic found only in Mindanao. Habitat/Distribution: Rare distribution in the forest areas in Agusan near Mainit Lake, north-west of Mt. Diwata range of 2,000 feet above sea level. Hosts/ Plants: Generally plants belonging to Aristolochia, Rustacea, Laureceae and Annonaceae are the food plants of papilionids. Habitats/Behavior: This group of papilionids belongs to the group Danaid mimics. It tries to mimic the Dadaus luzonensis and the Danaus vitrina. Threats: Habitat Destruction and over-collection Interesting Information: This species is in demand for export, hence, the over-collection and subsequent rare sightings in its habitat in Agusan.
