Hello! I have been slowly but surely updating this massive site... well in some standards it may not be so massive but in mine since I am just taking care of the site by myself (though I have lots of contributors), it is taking some time and for that reason I am sorry. I wish I could be taking off some species that have recovered but that isn't the case here, I have added an expanded some areas to encompass more information. There is now an expanded MARINE LIFE AREA, which now contains the following areas: Fresh Water Fish, Salt Water Fish, Marine Mammals and Marine Animals.
The first two areas are self-explanatory, the later areas are just for information areas. The Marine Mammal Area contains dugongs, whales and dolphins - as discussed these animals are NOT ENDANGERED and ENDEMIC they are termed as PROTECTED. This means that there are laws that were made to look out for their welfare. This area was created due to a considerable amount of mail coming in asking questions about said animals. The fourth area is called the Marine Animals Area, this area contains animals like coral, sea urchins, tube worms and other animals that are not fish or mammals.
The newest area is called PLANTS... since someone commented that the website tackles "Endangered Endemic Species" this does not rule out plants. But in fairness, I have done just that though it shall take me sometime to research on endangered endemic plants.
Please bear with me. I would like to thank all those who have taken time to correspond with me thru the years. I still need all the data (meaning pictures, updated information, sounds etc) I can get, but also your comments and observations would be very much welcome, you can write to me at this email address: grng0ddess@yahoo.com. I do so enjoy reading your comments and questions. Happy New Year!
BE AWARE. BE CONCERNED. SAVE THE ANIMALS. SAVE US. SAVE THE EARTH.
