The listing here for marine mammals and does not fall under the threatened
category but they are merely listed under
PROTECTED. The listing for whales, dolphins
and sea cows is just to inform people where they can see these types of animals
in the Philippines, and these fall under the mammal category. As for freshwater,
estuarine and marine fish there haven't been that much studies undertaken
so the populations of which are not really known, but I was able to research
on some of the species. The information given is from ICLARM's Fishbase.
