| Common Names: palaka Category: CRITICALLY ENDANGERED Status: Endemic and rare Habitat/Distribution: Known only from Mt. Isarog (Bicol Region), southeastern Luzon Island Habitat / Behavior: A small to moderate-sized Platymantis. Distinguished by brown-ringed areolations on hind limbs; thighs and groin and mottling of irregular brown lines, forming a network, on the belly. Found at elevations of 1,100-1,500m on Mt. Isarog. Threats: Habitat loss due to progressive harvesting of the forest trees.
