| Other Names: Lake Taal Hydrophis Common Names: ahas Category: Snout-vent length of large adults ranges from 500-750mm. The head is not distinct from the neck. The anterior part of the body is not or only slightly more slender than the posterior part. There are seven or eight supralabials and the fourth is normally beneath the center of the eye. There are two anterior temporals. The scales on hind bidy have rounded or bluntly pointed tips and are distinctly imbricate with short keels. There are 37-43 scale rows at midbody; white and yellowish-white bands or annuli. The head is black.
