| Common Names: Discoverer: Category: VULNERABLE Habitat/Distribution: Luzon Island Habitat / Behavior: The crown and nape are crimson, the face-patch is black, the upper parts black glossed green with yellow edges to the primaries and a grey band on the end of the tail. The underparts are grey with a bright orange throat and red upper breast. Calling rarely, a deep hoot, just after dawn. Threats: Hunting, habitat destruction due to logging Conservation Efforts/Measures:
