| Common Names: ahas Habitat/Distribution: Known from specimens in Luzon, Polillo, Sicogon, Calagna-an Habitat / Behavior: Snout-vent length of an adult male and female respectiveliy are917 and 1,095mm, a medium-sized Boiga usually with 21 midbody scale rows (rarely 23) and usually 8 (rarely 9) upper labials. There's a small loreal, one precular and two postoculars. The precular extends to the dorsal art of the head. In life the color of it's body may be black or dark slate. The upper and lower lips may be yellow or barred white and black. The body is crossed by white and yellow bars which may be thin or broad but not as broad as the balck interspaces. The head is similar in color to the body with white spots and lines.
The records of food include a bat, remains of a skink and
a lizard egg. This species is a egg-laying snake. It is known
to inhabit low brushes and branches of low trees in the forest areas.
