Common Names:
Category: VULNERABLE Status: ENDEMIC and Rare Habitat/Distribution: Known only from Mt. banahao, Quezon province. Habitat / Behavior: A medium sized Platymantis withavery much reduced webbing of the toes (compared with luzonensis) and smooth skin on the back. Inhabits leaf axils of screw pines (Pandanus) and birds' nest ferns (Asplenium). Advertisement calls are a rapid "tuk-tuk-tuk" and are distinct from those of luzonensis, its closest congener. Occurs in rainforest at elevations of 800-1,600 m. Threats: Interesting Information: SVL 28-39 mm; primary forest, arboreal, nocturnal Conservation Efforts/Measures: Not known.
